The Beatles Christmas messages began as a personal show of holiday gratitude to the band’s fan club, but grew into an annual tradition as important as any evergreen chestnut for a generation. The limited edition set will include seven individual, 7-inch colored vinyl singles, one for each of the seven messages.

The greetings were originally given only to fan club members on flexi-discs between 1963 and 1969 and have never been released as a set before, though one was made available as part of The Beatles Rock Band video game. The Beatles' Christmas records were spoken and musical messages that were sent out on flexi discs at Christmas time to members of their official fan-clubs in the UK and America. One such record was issued each year from 1963–1969 and an LP compilation of all seven in 1970.
